Our employees and contractors regularly conduct training, emergency drills and exercises to reinforce, verify and improve our emergency preparedness and awareness capabilities. Practice prepares us for unplanned situations and increase effectiveness across all business units. Refuse unsafe work.<\/p>\n Safety devices and guards:<\/strong> Devices installed to assure safe machine operation shall not be removed, tampered with or bypassed.<\/p>\n Personal protective equipment (PPE):<\/strong> PPE requirements for specific job and in our work area must to be followed.<\/p>\n Electrical work\/arc flash:<\/strong> Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment must be used when electrical work is being done or there is arc flash potential.<\/p>\n Lock-out\/tag-out:<\/strong> Lock-out\/tag-out procedures must be followed.<\/p>\n \n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.4.2″ header_4_font=”|||on|||||”]<\/p>\n Fall protection:<\/strong> Fall-arrest systems must be used when working at unprotected heights of 6 feet (1.82 meters) or greater.<\/span><\/p>\n Permit-required confined spaces:<\/strong> No person shall enter a permit-required confined space without an approved permit.<\/p>\n Work permits:<\/strong> We utilize properly authorized work permits when required. We follow all special safety procedures during hot work, work on energized electrical devices, elevated work and other high-risk activities. Only trained and authorized personnel perform such activities.<\/p>\n Safe driving, Seat belts\/restraints:<\/strong> We minimize distractions when driving on company business, including only using hands-free communication systems. We wear seat belts while driving and require all occupants to do the same.
